AJ Watson for a 5-0 run to begin the game. After Missouri Valley tied it up at 5,
Savian Edwards and
Augusto Hausmann got to work with two buckets for a 9-5 lead. This would only be the start of an 8-0 run to help lead establish a 13-5 lead at 14:40. The Park lead continued to mount as the half went along as Hausmann scored another lay-up, Robinson knocked down a pair of free-throws, and then Edwards laced a three-pointer and a lay-up for a 24-12 lead at 9:36. Park continued to press on the gas and big shots from
DeMarcus Hudson and a three-point shot from
Jasigha Barnes helped Park work up to an 18-point lead, 35-17. The Pirates made five three-pointers in the first half, all five from different players. It was an entertaining first half from the Pirates as they enjoyed a 29-point halftime lead, 53-24.
The Pirates never dropped the lead below 20-points in the second half. Park's
Christian Bradford had back-to-back layups to go along with a bucket from Hudson for a 6-0 run that would help Park to a 63-35 lead at 14:46. Bradford was a powerful asset to the Pirates down low with 13 rebounds and seven points on the offensive end. His seven offensive rebounds helped earn a big rebounding advantage over Missouri Valley, 46 to 28 for the game. The Pirates showcased a few extra faces tonight with
Kaden Paul,
Macio Moananu,
Gagi Gvalia helping Park to a 7-0 run, 81-51. Paul sank a deep-ball, while Moananu picked up a steal and lay-in, and Gvalia had to fight for a contested bucket in the paint. It would be smooth sailing the rest of the way, as Park took the 23-point win, 81-58.
Park led in all shooting categories, 43.8-percent from the field, 33.3-percent from beyond the arc, and 90-percent from the free-throw line.

Watson led all Pirates with 18 points and also was part of other scores with four assists on the night. He was masterful off the dribble and could take defenders to the hole in the lane or step back for 15 foot jumpers.
Edwards was second in scoring with 16 points and a respectable six rebounds.
Hudson and Hausmann also appeared in double-figures with 13 points by Hudson and 10 points by Hausmann.
The Pirates will await Clarke on Saturday, December 9 in Breckon Sports Center at 2pm.
