Celeste’s background is in travel, tourism and sports, most recently with Visit KCK. Previous to this, she was the Senior Director of Sales, Marketing and Events at the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame for over a decade. She has also worked for the Kansas Speedway, Missouri Rhythm ABA Basketball Team, at Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City Chiefs) and for the Kansas City Royals. Celeste currently serves on the Go North Kansas City and KC Game Plan committees, whose goals are to bring tourism to the Northland during The 2026 FIFA World Cup™ and to prepare small businesses for this event, respectively. She also served for over a decade on the National Events Ambassador Team for the Kansas City Sports Commission. At Park, Celeste’s role is a fundraiser for the University, which includes Athletics. Facilitating fundraising events, capital campaigns, sponsorships and partnerships is her key role.
