• 2019: Started in two of his seven appearances on the mound for the Pirates…He threw 6.2 innings with a 0-1 record, allowing 11 earned runs for a 14.85 ERA, surrendering 14 hits, two walks, and striking out six…In the field, he had one assist and a fielding percentage of .500.
• 2020: Appeared in five games as a pitcher and started one of them…He pitched 7.0 innings and finished 1-0 on the season, surrendering four earned runs for a 5.14 ERA, 15 hits, three walks, and 11 strikeouts…In the field, he had one putout and a perfect fielding percentage.
• 2021: Lightner did not appear in any games.

• Son of Scott and Tammy Lightner
• Brandt has one younger sibling, Addie
• He is pursuing his MBA after earning his undergraduate degree in construction management
• He chose Park because it was close to home and he liked the atmosphere of the school. The coaching staff also helped the decision to be an easy one.
• He attended Blue Springs South High School in Blue Springs, Missouri
• He helped his high school baseball team win the District 5 Championship; and individually, he earned Academic All-State, All-District, All-Conference, and All-Area honors
• Brandt enjoys playing basketball and hanging with friends in his spare time
