The Park University Women's Golf team continued to start the season strong, finishing second in the Siouxland Women's Invitational. Park finished just three strokes behind Morningside University, behind a great performance from Johnna Johanson. Johanson placed fourth overall, shooting nine over par through two rounds. After four birdies in the first round, Johanson was second in the tournament after the first day and fell just slightly on day two, but still placed amongst the top in the tournament. Kim Albertus finished tied for ninth, while Naureen Kamaruzzaman and Clara Martinez both finished tied for 16th. 

Park has now placed first and second in the first two tournaments of the Fall season, and will look to continue its strong start to the season at The Viking Shootout at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny, IA, this week.
