Men's Cross Country raced well at the Dan Hutson/Steve Johnson Invitational after the original meet the Pirates were scheduled to race in, the Seminole Valley Stampede, was canceled due to flooding. However, the men didn't lose a beat, especially Isaac Rivera. Rivera has raced exceptionally in a couple of meets, but Rivera finished second overall in a meet that featured teams from Division 1 and Division 2. Rivera trailed only one runner, Anas Mahboub from Drake, and finished with an 8000-meter time of  24:49.10.

Caden Peters also ran great, finishing 12th in the meet and less than a minute behind Rivera with a 25:33.20. Rivera and Peters have been the front runners for Park all year long, and they continued it to help the Pirates to a fourth-place finish.
