Park University's baseball program had a road series in Canton, Mo. against Culver-Stockton College on Saturday and Sunday, falling in game one but coming back for three-straight wins, 4-5, 9-2, 6-2, 8-4.
Park is now 27-14 on the year with an 18-10 Heart of America Athletic Conference record, while the Wildcats are 15-28-1 and 12-16 in the conference.

Culver-Stockton got to the lead first with a run in the first inning, while the Pirates responded back with a two-run second inning to grab the 2-1 lead.
Houston Penrod singled to bring in the first run and then
Edward Gonzalez tacked on the second run with a single to centerfield.
Raul Garcia held the Wildcats down with eight strikeouts and only allowed two runs through the first six innings.
After the Wildcats tied in the third inning, the Pirates came back to take a 4-2 lead in the fifth with a
Ricardo Hernandez single in the and a ground out to score
Blake Antle in the sixth.
With a 4-2 deficit, the Wildcats clawed back in it in the bottom of the seventh with three-runs for the walk-off win, 5-4. Â

The Pirates batted around in the first inning of game two and scored eight runs on six hits, including a two-RBI triple from
Zayne Morrow, which was then followed up in a big way with a two-run home run from Gonzalez.
Guillermo Gelpi just allowed one earned run in the next few innings to make it 8-2, but he would go five innings with three strikeouts.
Sebastian Del Olmo finished out the game for the Pirates with two innings with one strikeout and retired all six batters he faced.

Victor Sanchez-Ramos, Hernandez, and Morrow each had multi-hit games.

The Pirates got out to a great start with a three-run first inning to get to the lead again. The Pirates capitalized on an error by the Wildcats, but Penrod came through with a double for two more runs for Park.
Adam Stilts threw a complete game with seven strikeouts and moved to 7-2 on the season. He kept Park in it after the Wildcats earned a run in the bottom of the first and went on to throw five shutout innings.
Park added to the lead in the fifth to make it 4-1 on a wild pitch. The Wildcats scratched a run in the bottom of the fifth on an error at shortstop, but then a sacrifice fly by
Alex Rodriguez in the sixth and another sacrifice fly by Hernandez in the seventh secured a 6-2 win for Park.
GAME 4 | W, 8-4 | Box Score
Another three-run inning in the top of the first by the Pirates got the team rolling again in game four. Park benefited from an error in the field by Culver-Stockton but also had three hits in the inning. A lead-off triple by Rodriguez got Park going and he was 7-for-7 in the last two games of the series for the Pirates. He would score on a wild pitch and then
Gilberto Torres and Gonzalez each hit singled for a run each.
The Wildcats were able to get a run in the bottom of the third, but
Bryan Aguirre through three shutout innings besides that third inning.
The Pirates made it 4-1 in the fourth inning on a single from Rivera, but the Wildcats came back to tie the game in the bottom of the fifth on two hits and an error.
Aguirre's day was done, but he got the win as the offense came up with two runs in the top of the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Rodriguez and a single by Sanchez.
Alex Lozada and
Bryce Perdieu threw hitless innings in the sixth and seventh to prevent a comeback and two more runs by Park in the seventh put the game out of reach, 8-4.
Park will have their final series with Peru State College on Friday and Saturday, but changes can be on the way due to weather. The Pirates will celebrate senior day in their final doubleheader of the season.
