Park University (MO)

Official Home of the Park University Pirates

Breckon Sports Center

Built in 2000, Breckon Sports Center is the home of Park University men's and women's basketball and volleyball. With seating for up to 1,200, "The Breck", a monolithic dome, provides one of the best home-court environments in all of small college athletics.

Host to numerous American Midwest Conference championship events in basketball and volleyball, The Breck also hosted both the 2008 and 2009 NAIA Volleyball National Invitational Tournaments, including hosting the Pirates' 2008 national championship win over California Baptist University.

In 2016-17, the third-largest crowd in the history of the Breckon Sports Center saw Park and Columbia battle in a match-up of top-25 NAIA Division I Men's Basketball teams, as 1,162 fans crowded in to The Breck. The largest crowd in building history, announced at 1,200, saw the nationally ranked Park University men's basketball team beat then-No. 1 MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2007, and in 2008, the men's volleyball championship win over CBU drew 1,191 fans to The Breck.

Breckon Sports Center has been host to NAIA Women's Volleyball Opening Rounds in 2020, 2021, and 2022.Â
